The Smart Resetter for HP will reset the "smart chip"
on the Uni-Kit compatible chips for HP 02, HP 10 and HP 11 chips. Reset
printer cartridge chips to factory specifications, showing full
ink levels and providing the same number of cycles as when the Canon
inkjet cartridge was new. Just place the cartridge on the resetter and
wait 4 seconds!
This resetter will not work on OEM chips, only on our compatible chips and cartridges.
Why use the HP Resetter:
HP 02, HP 10 and HP 11 inkjet cartridges with "smart chips" send a signal to the printer when empty, and the printer won't recognize the refilled cartridge as it "remembers" it as empty. The resetter will "reset" the compatible chips for these HP models to "full" specs.
Alternatives to the HP Resetter:

Compatible Chips: Another method to overcome the "out of ink" signal that is sent to the printer due to a spent inkjet cartridge is to replace the chip. Compatible chips are available on request and are available as "1 time" chips or "auto reset" chips.
